Year 7’s Safety and Fun-Filled Beach Activities!
29 September 2023Our Year 7 students have enjoyed a fantastic week learning how to stay safe on beaches and competing in many fun-filled team-building activities!
All pupils took part in Swim Safe – a community-focused programme delivered by the RNLI and Swim England, providing children with an opportunity to learn how to stay safe in and around open water.
As part of the Swim Safe programme, students learned what messages the different beach flags represent, how to stay safe in a rip current, and much more.
That was before they had the opportunity to enjoy some fun-filled activities, including raft building, paddleboarding on giant stand-up paddleboards, body boarding, and coasteering!
