Pupils show the chef how they roll23 June 2016
Today, Thursday 23rd June, some of the College pupils had the pleasure of working with the Chartwells area chef, Paul Martin. Paul came into the College and ran two sessions, firstly with a class of Year 8 pupils and secondly with the pupils from the College’s ARB. Both sets of pupils had great fun learning the processes of making bread from start to finish and really enjoyed getting their hands mucky. The pupils watched and learnt from the expert and then worked in small groups to try and replicate the chef’s designs and quality. The lessons were a great success and the pupils devoured the results hot from the oven.
